Multi-genre Electronic Music Producer, Guitarist from North Queensland Australia now residing in the UK. Cosmos Synthetics an electronic music producer, instrumentalist, studio audio engineer and visual artist and video editor has been solo producing and collaborating alike since 2008 with friends locally and online. Slowly refining the sound and musical direction he wants to take with respect to creative artistic musical influence. Cosmos constantly experiments with analog sound synthesis, electric guitar and computer based producing and then builds it into a live performance set using a Live Push controller and or Digital DJ Controller using Ableton Live and Traktor DJ software and is currently working on a hybrid performance setup using the instruments themselves, the Ableton and Traktor controllers all routed through a professional sound card and tempo synchronized using a computer. Cosmos looks forward to continuing to share his musical creations with the world and is slowly working towards an audio/visual performance rig that will be audience interactive. Rise & Fall Why? Lentil Soup | A classic Turkish soup, an easy recipe, so many variations!

The most versatile soup of Turkish cuisine! It is classic and seemingly every family has their own twist to it. Here is my version of it. #recipe #soup

Ingredients

75 gr butter, margarine

1 onion

1 or 2 potatoes (optional)

150 gr lentils | 3/4 cup

2 tomatoes, tomato paste or cooked in tomatoes (add to liking)

salt and other spices you like

*for serving: lemon!

How to make it

1. Melt the butter and chop the onions. Fry the onions until they get kind of soft.

2. Add the small chopped tomatoes or tomato alternatives and pour about one liter of water.

3. When the water starts to boil, put the lentils into it but be careful that you do not close the lid completely as lentils tend to overflow easily.

4. After 5-10 minutes of boiling, you can add the chopped potatoes into the soup. (optional)

5. Let the soup boil for about 20 minutes and turn the stove off.

6. Get your blender out and blend the soup until smooth (optional)

7. The last super yummy optional part: Get a bit of butter, melt it and put some flaked peppers or dried pepper mint into it. Let it roast for a minute but be careful not to burn it. Add this into the soup and stir it for the last time.

8. Serve with a good squeeze of lemon if you like.

Tips

*Like mentioned before you can make this soup in many variations. For example, you don’t need to blend this soup and enjoy all the pieces of the lentils and chopped potatoes.

*Instead of potatoes you can add rice or tiny noodles into the soup.

*Instead of plain water you can use chicken broth. It does make a difference in taste.

*After you’re done cooking the soup you can just sieve out the lentils or blend the soup and then let it run through a sieve (many restaurants make it that way to have it extra smooth).

*There are even variations with flour, yogurt and more. Ask me if you are interested.

*Some people like to use a pressure cooker to save time but I find that unnecessary, a matter of choice really.

This Is How COPPA Will Destroy YouTubers... (It's Really Bad) | FTC YouTube COPPA Update (Mirror)

This is unfucking believable (Please excuse my language if there are any younger subscribers here) 😠This is the weekend and normally, I would upload my next Gaming video, but I have no words to say about the stupidity on the outdated COPPA by the FTC and the impact it'll have on YouTube December 10th. Remember YouTube's TOS' link I posted? This is why I left before 12/10, I cannot afford $40,000 per video if they're not Kid friendly. Watch this video by KreetCraft.

KreetCraft makes a lot of great points about COPPA, being outdated and what YouTube creators can do to voice their opinions or facts about it. I've already done my part by tweeting and sharing Kreet's video. There are steps you can take to voice yourself or if you have friends who have a YouTube channel:

1) Leave A Comment, Make certain it's short and professional: https://www.regulations.gov/comment?D=FTC-2019-0054-0001

2) Tweet The FTC: https://www.ftc.gov/about-ftc/commissioners

Only 3 of the 5 Commissioners haven't responded yet and their attention is needed on the subject. They are Chairman Joe Simmons (No relation to Richard, God Bless his soul), Rohit Chopra (Yes, that's his name. Don't make fun of it, too much) and finally, we have the lovely Rebecca Kelly Slaughter (*Sigh* I'm sure Sarge is proud of her).

But in all due seriousness, YouTubers like KreetCraft cannot afford to pay $40,000 each time out his pocket just because the videos aren't kid friendly and us Adults watch sports, movies, TV shows, eat, listen to songs and musicals and play video/computer games that kids would, I'm sorry again, still at a loss for words. #COPPA #KreetCraft #FTC #YouTube
