DO YOU HAVE IDEAS TO MAKE BITTUBERS BETTER?

Ok, so I was browsing through discord tonight and going through some of the thread. Some good, some bad, and some just ugly ideas and suggestions. But then it occurred to me that making suggestions and complaints on discord or telegram is just boring and soon gets lost in a long winding thread.

So here's the idea (it's very simple):

We have video platform here guys. Let's use it! Everyone has a cell phone with video and a computer, so no excuse. How about making serious videos (or at least long form reddit style posts) about suggestions for the platform and then letting people comment below? This would give a much better idea for @smaram to read through the most upvoted and passed around ideas and suggestions (and sure even some complaints) and get a better idea of things that have serious community support and traction.

Right now we have a bunch of randoms on discord and telegram we have no idea if the person chirping is a 10 year old child, or an 800lb transvestite. Personally, it matters to me. And honestly, I don't hear many good ideas - just a lot of bitching and moaning about petty ass shit. So , SHOW YOURSELF... be professional...and present your case ON THE PLATFORM and let's see how that goes. If you have a good idea it's sure to be talked about, SHARED, and not lost in some never ending discord or telegram thread - it will remain up for some time and become more visible with more consensus (or adversity) to your idea(s).

let's use the #community #suggestions (plural) tags to do this.

If you think this is a good or bad idea - please share why below.

PS: I have always been a very private person especially since I've been involved in crypto for so long, but lately doing a few videos has been fine. I realize I have nothing to hide and can be proud of who I am and my opinions, no matter how much people might ridicule me for them. For some of you making a video might be hard, but I think in these early days of the platform - Video will help us all get to know each other better and get acquainted more with the personalities on the site, rather than just the posts or faceless video uploads. I think this will ultimately be really good for community building and getting to know each other - in this modern digital age where we often leave nothing more than a digitized (anonymous and often faceless) footprint. Getting better acquainted with each other in this format should yield an organic corporate unity to help propel this nascent platform forward, together. -nachodon #newparadigm

@bittca6x @ryanw @yasou -- The idea here is that while we are still a small community it would be beneficial for us to be more transparent about ourselves rather than just another random faceless complainer on an internet chat. Right now, people in discord chats receive fairly equal weight - or you get social credit by just being there every day. But is this really a good measuring stick of someone's contribution value? I feel it might even be WORSE to take direction from people who hang out in chats all day honestly. Also who are these people? Again, just faceless complainers who have a lot of time on their hands or pop in the chat to machine gun some negativity.

Why should a 12 year old child or other non serious person have influence for even 5 seconds on how the platform is developed? By making more serious cases and arguments for change / features / and shaping the platform in general through VIDEO presentation (and lesser extent longer form posts) it forces people to get a proper presentation and argument together. It also gives us a small glimpse into them as a person. An idea could be presented more professionally as if before a small committee -- "When I was working for Coca-Cola -- this seemed to work really well...here is why I think XYZ should also be considered by Bittubers." --We could therefore expect more thoughtful and crafted ideas instead of dumb asses clogging the chats with random thoughts they had while sitting on the toilet - angry because #tube price is down and they lost 20 dollars.

Personally I'm sick of all the broke ass people in crypto who demand to be heard in these chats and monopolize time with negativity. I also think that telegram/discord chats are not a good way to build a community. These people are fickle and no one knows their level of commitment to the project - if any at all. This is why in my private Tube Whale chat we let anyone in...but the minute they start trashing the project , price , etc... I offer to let them stay and babble and complain as long as they show me proof of significant stake in $tube...otherwise I could care less what they have to say and simply ban them. Not ONE person I've given this ultimatum to has shown any stake in the project. I gleefully ban them. (If you have stake in this project and have interest in promotion feel free to join us here: https://t.me/BitTubePromoters )

Presenting ideas on a video platform in video is simply a natural fit... It gives the rest of the community the ability to know and understand people who are at least attempting to be serious contributors to the project and not just asshole fudsters or angry toxic fueled morons. It separates the wheat from the chaff, while giving us all a chance to know the serious contributors a bit more personally, and for me that's a step in the right direction.

in something I agree with the author of the post, we must understand (the rationality of this proposal, because many recommendations are written by not quite developed people in the field that they are trying to change) but they try and it’s already good.

regarding "a good idea will always be noticed, and will be discussed = debatable :)

I HAVE BEEN THINKING A LOT ABOUT BITTUBERS LATELY.SO THIS POST COMES HANDY.I ALSO THINK THIS PLATFORM NEEDS TO BE FINALISED BEFORE PROMOTING BY US USERS&CREATORS FURTHER MORE.BITTUBERS PERHAPS NEED TO HAVE AN IDENTITY.EXAMPLE ON INSTAGRAM SOMEONE PLACED A TRANSITION OF 30 YEARS OF HIS LIFE AND THE MEDIA NEWS JUST BACKED IT THIS UP WITH A CATCHY TITLE.I WANT TO SEE BITTUBERS GROW.PEOPLE NEED TIME BEFORE USING A NEW CRYPTOTECHNOLOGY.

1> I see a lot of people wanting to really push for growth on BitTubers.com right now. I don't think now is the time, it needs to be finished! Yes, we all should be using #suggestions to talk about what we want on the platform, I agree with this. Before any promotions are done, we have to reach a point where most people are happy, and BitTubers.com v1 is done! I would hate to attract a lot of people, and then all they remember is a bad experience with an unfinished site.

I'm going to try this week to get a couple journo friends to post bittuber exclusive vids and try and draw some people to the platform. Hopefully it will work out.
