The diet of the Western World has led us as humans further down a path of disease and weight gain. Living in Greece, where a lot of people still age past 100 (especially in Crete), i can tell you firsthand how important it is to simplify your food sources. Whenever someone in my family complains about things like weight, his mood, inflammations, feeling sick etc i switch them to a very "pure" diet for a little while (things like chicken, turkey, tuna, sardines, tomatoes, potatoes, lentils, rice etc) and they're back to normal very quick. 👍
